Job summary

Teligent Systems, Inc. in the Philippines is seeking a middleware specialist to develop and build new versions of middleware technologies running on Linux and AIX platforms.

You will install software and binary packages, upgrade middleware, and provide technical support for development, test, and production environments, including assisting with container build scripts and VM/server setups. This role offers collaboration across teams and participation in migration efforts with modern tooling.

Qualifications

• Experience architecting and building middleware on Linux or AIX.
• Experience with Oracle WebLogic and Oracle Traffic Director.
• Familiarity with middleware deployments in Dev/Test/Prod.

Responsibilities

• Develop and build new versions of middleware technologies running on Linux/AIX platforms.
• Install software and binaries and upgrade middleware.
• Provide technical support for development, test, and production environments.
• Migrate middleware infrastructure to new versions and support migration of applications by development teams.
• Provide input to low-level designs and estimate project builds.

Job description

• Develops and builds new version of middleware technologies running on Linux and or

AIX Platforms

• Builds and supports Middleware Technologies (Oracle Traffic Director, Weblogic, Oracle
• Installations of Software & Binary packages and upgrades Middleware
• Provides technical support of Development, Test and Production environments
• Supports the installation of application releases into Test environments, including

delivery of container build scripts

• Provides input to low-level designs
• Identifies issues affecting customer service and resolve them
• Provides build requirement for VMs and/or server set-up
• Contributes to the development of documentation and standards
• Migrates Middleware Infrastructure to new versions and support the migration of

applications by development teams

• Provides inputs in estimating project builds
• Liaises with application teams regarding Middleware (e.g. Weblogic) Code of Connectionand integration issue.
