Job summary

HedgeServ in Manila/remote is seeking a Security Master Manager to build and maintain the global master database of financial products. You will work with NAV & MO teams, coordinate with vendors, and support strategy initiatives across markets.

Responsibilities include maintaining security master data, setting up accounts, reconciling discrepancies, and delivering daily data reconciliations. You’ll collaborate with development on system updates and support Middle Office queries, including

Qualifications

• Proficient in Excel.
• Introductory knowledge of SQL or VBA.
• Knowledge of Market Data Vendors (Bloomberg, Reuters) required.
• Ability to multi-task and succeed in a results-oriented, high pressure environment.
• Attention to detail and an understanding of the need for 100% accuracy.
• Familiarity of Database structure preferred.
• Self-motivated and solid team player.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities.

• Handle all security master and data management that includes account set up maintenance, workflows and vendor price feeds.
• Ensure accuracy of all reference data, which can impact Trading PnL (i.e. Terms and Conditions).
• Reconcile and resolve data discrepancies.
• Assist in drafting Business Specifications for new features or enhancements to proprietary applications.
• Run various daily reconciliation reports to ensure data is consistent across all clients and platforms.
• Work hand in hand with development teams to implement new system updates.
• Act as the main point of support for Middle Office and NAV queries that relate to pricing, security setup, data maintenance, and vendor workflows.
• Strategize with the team daily and develop new ways to process data efficiently.
• Amenable to work during European hours.

The Security Master Manager will work in accordance with the NAV & MO teams to both build and maintain its global master database of financial products. The position will expose the Manger to all financial markets and products traded globally, as well as vendor pricing systems. The Manager will have the opportunity to work closely with Senior Management on strategy development and new initiatives.
