Job summary

Ascendion is looking for a Mid-Level Quality Engineer to join our software testing team in the Philippines. The role involves manual and automation testing across web, mobile, and API applications, with emphasis on end-to-end workflows and release readiness.

The candidate should have at least 3 years of QA experience, hands-on with Selenium and Appium, and familiarity with Postman, BrowserStack, and CI/CD tools. Strong collaboration and analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

At least 3 years of experience in software quality assurance or software testing.
Experience in manual and automation testing for web and/or mobile apps.
Hands-on with Selenium and/or Appium.
Experience using Postman for API testing.
Familiarity with BrowserStack for cross-browser and cross-device testing.
Exposure to UiPath is an advantage.
Experience with test management and CI/CD tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, and Jenkins.
Knowledge of mobile testing, device matrix validation, regression testing, and system integration testing.
Experience supporting UAT, web testing, API testing, and defect management.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Execute manual and automation testing for web, mobile, and API applications.
Perform DAT, SIT, regression testing, and UAT.
Validate end-to-end application workflows, including login/logout, navigation, deep links, and business processes.
Test APIs, integrated services, and application components to ensure functionality and stability.
Identify, document, and track defects using test management tools.
Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.
Support release validation and ensure deployment readiness.
