Job summary

MicroSourcing in the Philippines is seeking an Intermediate C++ Engineer to modify Chromium code and support a secure remote browser solution. You will collaborate with software engineers to improve remoting capabilities, display performance, and deliver high-quality C++ code in an Agile setting.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years of Linux C++ experience, strong debugging and testing skills, and comfort with Git, GDB, and GoogleTest.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience developing C++ applications on Linux.
• Proficiency in modern C++ (C++11+) and OOP.

Responsibilities

• Modify and enhance Chromium code to support a secure remote browser solution.
• Collaborate with software engineers to improve browser remoting capabilities and display performance.
• Develop, debug, test, and maintain high-quality C++ code following clean coding principles.
• Troubleshoot complex system issues, investigate bug reports, and implement resolutions.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of browser technologies in an Agile environment.
