Job summary

MicroSourcing is seeking a C++ Browser Engineer to join onsite in Eastwood, Quezon City. The role focuses on modifying Chromium code to enable a secure remote browser solution, collaborating with engineers to enhance remoting and display performance.

You will develop, test, and maintain high-quality C++ code in an Agile setting, with strong emphasis on debugging and problem-solving across Linux environments. A 2–3 year background with modern C++ is required.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience developing C++ applications on Linux.
• Strong proficiency in modern C++ (C++11 or later) and OOP.
• Hands-on experience with Linux development tools (Git, GDB, GCC/Clang).
• Experience with Linux shell scripting using Python or Bash.
• Strong debugging, analytical and problem-solving skills; experience with GoogleTest.

Responsibilities

• Modify and enhance Chromium code to support a secure remote browser solution.
• Collaborate with software engineers to improve browser remoting capabilities and display performance.
• Develop, debug, test, and maintain high-quality C++ code following clean coding principles and best practices.
• Troubleshoot complex system issues, investigate bug reports, and implement resolutions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of browser technologies in an Agile environment.
