Job summary

MicroSourcing is recruiting a Software Engineer (C++) to join our onsite team in Eastwood, Quezon City. You will modify Chromium code, enhance remoting capabilities, and deliver high-quality C++ software in a collaborative, Agile setting.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years of Linux C++ experience, strong C++11+ skills, and familiarity with Linux tools and unit testing frameworks such as GoogleTest. A bachelor’s degree in CS or related field is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience developing C++ applications on Linux.
• Strong knowledge of modern C++ (C++11 or later) and OOP.
• Hands‑on with Linux tools (Git, GDB, GCC/Clang).
• Scripting with Python or Bash.
• Experience with GoogleTest for unit testing.

Responsibilities

• Modify and enhance Chromium code to support secure remote browser solutions.
• Collaborate with engineers to improve browser remoting capabilities and display performance.
• Develop, debug, test, and maintain high‑quality C++ code following best practices.
• Troubleshoot complex system issues and investigate bug reports.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of browser technologies in an Agile environment.
