Job summary

MicroSourcing is seeking a C++ Browser Engineer to modify and enhance Chromium-based code for a secure remote browser solution. This onsite role in Eastwood, Quezon City requires 2–3 years of Linux C++ experience and strong GoogleTest familiarity.

You’ll collaborate with engineers to boost remoting capabilities and rendering performance, while maintaining clean, robust C++ code in an Agile team. A 10% transport allowance is provided on top of salary.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience developing C++ applications on Linux.
• Strong proficiency in modern C++ (C++11 or later) and OOP.
• Hands-on experience with Linux development tools (Git, GDB, GCC/Clang).
• Experience with Linux shell scripting using Python or Bash.
• Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills; familiarity with GoogleTest.

Responsibilities

• Modify and enhance Chromium code to support a secure remote browser solution.
• Collaborate with software engineers to improve browser remoting capabilities and display performance.
• Develop, debug, test, and maintain high-quality C++ code following clean coding principles.
• Troubleshoot complex system issues, investigate bug reports, and implement resolutions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of browser technologies in an Agile environment.
