Job summary

MicroSourcing, based in Eastwood, Quezon City, is seeking an Intermediate C++ Engineer to modify Chromium code and enable secure remote browser solutions. This onsite role requires 2–3 years of Linux C++ experience and collaboration with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.

The successful candidate will develop, debug, and maintain high-quality C++ code on Linux, using GoogleTest, Git, and modern C++ standards. A 10% transport allowance is provided on top of salary.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience developing C++ applications on Linux.
• Strong C++11 or later and object-oriented programming (OOP).
• Experience with Linux development tools (Git, GDB, GCC/Clang).
• Scripting in Python or Bash; unit testing with GoogleTest.
• Familiarity with Chromium/Firefox or open-source browsers is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Modify and enhance Chromium code to support a secure remote browser solution.
• Collaborate with engineers to improve browser remoting and display performance.
• Develop, debug, test, and maintain high-quality C++ code using best practices.
• Troubleshoot complex issues, investigate bugs, and implement fixes.
• Contribute to Agile development and continuous improvement of browser technologies.
