We are seeking a results-driven Business Analyst to translate business needs into actionable requirements. You will document functional and non-functional specifications, support process mapping, and collaborate with product, development, and QA teams.
Responsibilities include gathering requirements, writing user stories, conducting basic data analysis, and assisting in UAT. Strong communication and attention to detail are essential in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities: Requirement Gathering: Assist in eliciting and documenting business, functional, and non-functional requirements through interviews, workshops, surveys, and stakeholder meetings. Process Documentation: Support in creating and maintaining detailed process flows, business models, and system documentation.
Data Analysis: Perform basic data analysis to help identify trends, patterns, and insights that can support decision-making and process improvements. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and testers, to ensure business requirements are clearly understood and effectively implemented. Gap Analysis: Assist in conducting gap analyses to identify discrepancies between current business processes and desired outcomes.
User Stories: Help develop clear and concise user stories and acceptance criteria for Agile projects. Testing Support: Assist in developing test plans and test cases to verify that solutions meet business requirements and participate in user acceptance testing (UAT). Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
Documentation: Prepare and maintain project-related documents such as requirement specifications, meeting notes, status reports, and user manuals. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization and help recommend changes to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Experience: 1-2+ years of experience in a similar role, including internships or entry-level positions in business analysis, project coordination, or process improvement. Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Basic understanding of data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL) is a plus. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira or Trello is preferred.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identifypatterns, discrepancies, and potential solutions. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly document and present information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively within a team and adapt to changing project needs.
