Job summary

ConnectOS in Metro Manila is seeking a seasoned QA Tester to join a hybrid team (3 days onsite, 2 days work-from-home). The role covers manual and automation testing for web and mobile products, including UI, API and database testing, with Selenium-based automation and Cucumber BDD.

You will create and execute detailed test cases, qualify defects, collaborate with developers to understand new features, perform regression testing, and contribute to building robust QA processes in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years in manual and automation testing for web and mobile.
• Experience with Selenium and Cucumber BDD.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain and execute detailed manual test cases for web and mobile apps.
• Identify, document, and track software defects in collaboration with developers.
• Collaborate to understand new features and craft corresponding test cases.
• Perform regression testing to validate fixes and enhancements.
• Assist in developing and maintaining automated test scripts.
• Gradually shift from manual testing toward greater automation coverage.
• Execute automated tests and analyze results to improve quality.
• Report automation outcomes and address issues with the team.
• Participate in requirement analysis and review sessions.
• Contribute to quality standards and testing strategy improvements.

Schedule: Monday to Friday (11:00AM - 8:00PM PHT)

Work Setup: Hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days WFH)

Office Location: Mega Tower, Mandaluyong

What are we looking for?

Skills Required

• 3-5+ years proven experience as a Manual and Automation Tester to include UI, API and database testing for both web and mobile products.
• Working knowledge of automation testing tools, specifically Selenium.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Experience implementing test automation frameworks utilizing Cucumber BDD to support functional and regression testing.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks and test management tools (e.g., JIRA).
• Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Nice To Have

• Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE)
