Job summary

MicroSourcing is seeking an Automation Engineer to design, develop and maintain automation frameworks for testing web, API, and backend systems. You will create and execute automated test scripts and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines.

The role is remote in the Philippines, with full-time employment and opportunities for career growth, learning, and involvement in agile projects within a diverse team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in test automation or software quality engineering.
• Strong programming skills in Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript.
• Hands-on experience with automation tools/frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, or similar).
• Experience with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD tools.

Responsibilities

• Experience with API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured).
• Familiarity with performance testing tools (JMeter, k6).
• Understanding of BDD/TDD frameworks (Cucumber).
• Experience with containerization tools (Docker).
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
