Job summary

TE Connectivity Ltd. in Tanauan, Batangas Province, Philippines, seeks an MFG & PROCESS DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER I to drive end-to-end manufacturing process development for high-precision connectors. You will align with MPDE teams in China and the product design group in the US to launch products from the PH facility.

The role emphasizes process optimization, tooling design, DOE, and QA/QC documentation, with 10–25% travel and onsite collaboration with local and international teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or higher degree in mechanical or mechatronics engineering or related field.
• 2–5 years in high precision connector assembly process development or automation development.
• Data-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
• Rich shopfloor hands-on experience; cost-aware in design and development.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end connector manufacturing process development and cost optimization.
• Concept design and DOE for assembly process and tooling.
• Technical leadership and troubleshooting from low- to high-volume manufacturing.
• Provide process definitions and requirements to automation teams for Auto MC development.
• Launch products on time with cross-functional teams.
• Document processes (DFM, FMEA, WI, FACA/QCPC).
