Job summary

Legora invites a Director-level Head of Legal Engineering to establish the Mexico practice in Mexico City. You will set the craft bar, build the team and its Team Lead layer, and partner with Go‑to‑Market and Engagement on high-stakes clients and scalable playbooks.

You will lead selective engagements, shape a local model aligned with Legora’s global standards, and drive senior relationships, market strategy and cross-functional execution across the region.

Qualifications

• Qualified to practise law in Mexico and substantial legal, legal-operations or legal-technology experience.
• Experience building teams, operating models or market functions.
• Proven ability to manage managers or Team Leads and develop talent.
• Fluent in Spanish and English, written and spoken.
• Based in Mexico City and willing to travel within Mexico for strategic clients.

Responsibilities

• Stand up the Legal Engineering function for Mexico from the Mexico City office, including its operating rhythm and capacity model.
• Hire exceptional Legal Engineers and future leaders, and manage onboarding and ramp.
• Build a manager layer of Team Leads with clear succession plans for long-term independence.
• Provide direct, evidence-based feedback and coach high performance and values.
