Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb in Mexico seeks an experienced Customs & Trade professional to support C&T operations across Mexico, coordinating with R&D, taxes, legal, and regional teams to ensure compliant inbound/outbound movements.

The role requires 5+ years in Customs & Trade, a relevant degree, and SAP (GTS/Production) experience, with strong leadership, negotiation, and cross‑cultural skills to drive regional excellence.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree preferably in Customs & Trade, Supply Chain Management & Logistics.
• 5+ years of Customs & Trade Management experience for a reputed, global Pharmaceutical or similar product profile company.
• Experience with SAP (Production, GTS, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Management of all Mexico Customs & Trade import/export compliance activities.
• Coordination with R&D Team regarding “Direct to Patient" shipments.
• Audit host for Financial and Trade Compliance purposes.
• Vendor management in compliance with FCPA & BCF directives, contract & procedures amendments, updates, revision and approval.
• Working with Taxes, Legal, Finance, Procurement, TPMs, Plant Sites, R&D, regional Logistics colleagues, Regulatory, Security, External partners for efficient deployment of C&T capabilities.
• Represent C&T in local Events and Councils (Internal and External).
• Provide support for Mexico Customs & Trade operations and develop functional organization for Mexico C&T.
• Act as Mexico C&T representative and escalation point for issue resolution.
