Job summary

Whirlpool Corporation in Mexico is seeking a logistics professional to coordinate Customs Brokers, logistics providers and external warehouses for importing components to our manufacturing facilities. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, logistics, business management, or related field.
• 2+ years at the same company.
• Ability to work in professional manner in the office 5 days per week.
• Strong communication including written and verbal.
• English and Spanish language proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Customs Brokers, Logistics Providers, External Warehouses, and Whirlpool process partners for import of components to Whirlpool Mexico facilities.
• Identify and execute strategic initiatives and analyses for North American import operations from origin to delivery.
• Lead root cause analysis and drive process improvements across international transportation and spend.
• Provide correct shipping instructions to carriers and suppliers for ocean and air expedites.
• Create and track POs for freight transportation expenses and review supplier/carrier invoices for compliance.
• Monitor Imports KPI to drive corrective actions and ensure timely delivery.
