Job summary

A global technology leader is seeking a Methods Engineer to implement solutions for process-related issues while driving improvement projects for cost, quality, and productivity. The ideal candidate will have experience in design, process engineering, and manufacturing knowledge. Responsibilities include ensuring production efficiency and compliance with safety and quality standards. This is a full-time onsite position based in Rosario, Cavite, joining a collaborative environment supporting sustainable and innovative manufacturing solutions.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of Methods Processes experience is desirable.
  • Knowledgeable in designing and improving manufacturing processes.
  • Experienced in Time and Motion study.

Responsibilities

  • Implement immediate resolutions for process-related issues.
  • Drive process improvement projects for cost and quality.
  • Ensure compliance with Safety, Quality, Health and Environmental requirements.
  • Qualify new projects and processes for smooth operation.
  • Achieve SPS Score targets and maintain via standardization and knowledge sharing.
  • Ensure activity and products comply with Safety, Quality, Health and Environmental requirements.

Job description

Overview

The Methods Engineer is responsible for implementing immediate resolutions for process-related issues and customer complaints. Take the initiatives in the process improvement projects that will improve cost, quality, productivity, and efficiency driving innovative solutions to improve the overall Yield and Defect Per Unit (DPU). Develops new manufacturing processes and line improvements by working with respective Cross‑functional teams.

What will you do?
  • Ensure enough Capacity & Utilization for production lines and equipment from peak production quantity forecast of year using CAMA (Capacity management), LADM (Line architecture Design Management) and MPH (Material Picking Handling) analysis
  • Optimize control by Poka Yoke / Jidoka in all cells by improving Process Quality
  • Ensure Productivity on DLP (Direct Labor Productivity) Saving by Design Time Reduction Projects, KD (co‑design) Improvement Projects, Ergonomic Assessment and Process Design Improvement
  • Ensure the qualification of new projects and new processes to have a smooth running
  • Achieve the targeted SPS Score and maintain for the year through continuous improvement tools and techniques, and involve on standardization deployment with benchmarking and knowledge sharing
  • Ensure the activity and all products comply to Safety, Quality, Health and Environmental requirements. Optimize the overall process and ensure that all metrics are measured for improvement
Who would be successful?
  • An effective driver of smart manufacturing
  • Minimum 1 year of Methods Processes experience is desirable
  • Experienced in design, process, test or product engineering
  • Knowledgeable in designing and improving manufacturing processes, yield and productivity improvements, and cost reduction
  • Proficient in problem‑solving methodologies such as Poka Yoke, Statistical Process Control, SPC, Design of Experiment (DOE), and Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA)
  • Experienced in Time and Motion study
  • Good decision‑making and analytical skills
  • Amenable to work in Rosario, Cavite
  • Working schedule arrangements: 6x a week, full‑time working onsite
