Job summary

Tri-Dimension Metal Fabrication is seeking a Cost Engineer to join our growing team. You will focus on cost estimation for metal sheet fabrication projects, analyze drawings, BOMs, and coordinate with Engineering, Production, and Sales to ensure accurate project costing.

The ideal candidate has a degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering, proven metal fabrication costing experience, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in Excel; ERP/MRP experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• Proven experience in metal fabrication and metal sheet fabrication costing.
• Proficient in preparing project quotations and cost estimates.
• Able to interpret engineering drawings and fabrication details.
• Strong analytical, mathematical, and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; ERP/MRP experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate cost estimates and quotations for metal fabrication projects
• Analyze fabrication drawings, specifications, and Bills of Materials (BOM)
• Estimate material, labor, machining, finishing, and production costs
• Coordinate with the Engineering, Production, and Sales teams to ensure accurate project costing
• Support continuous improvement of estimating processes and cost efficiency
