Job summary

SM Retail is seeking an experienced Merchandising Manager (Buyer) to lead buying and merchandising strategies that drive sales, profitability, and optimal inventory levels across our stores. You will develop merchandising and buying strategies, analyze sales and market trends, manage supplier relationships, optimize inventory, plan promotions, and oversee visual merchandising.

The ideal candidate has 6–10 years in retail merchandising, strong Excel and data analysis skills, and proven leadership

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, retail management, or related field.
• 6–10 years of experience in retail merchandising, buying, or category management.
• Strong experience in merchandising strategy and supplier/vendor management.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and data analysis.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Knowledge of Chinese language is an advantage.
