Job summary

Global Dollarstore Inc. is seeking a highly organized Merchandising Assistant to support day-to-day merchandising and supply chain activities.

You will help monitor inventory, manage replenishment, track purchase orders, coordinate with suppliers, and generate reports to ensure product availability across our retail stores. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 1–2 years of experience in merchandising, retail operations, or supply chain.

Qualifications

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable working with sales and inventory data.
Strong organizational and analytical skills.
Detail-oriented and able to meet deadlines.
Good communication and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

Monitor inventory levels, stock movements, and product availability across retail branches.
Assist in preparing replenishment requirements based on sales and inventory data.
Identify potential stockouts, overstock, and slow-moving items and report findings.
Coordinate with Purchasing team and suppliers regarding purchase orders, product availability, and delivery schedules.
Monitor purchase orders and follow up on pending, delayed, or incomplete deliveries.
Prepare regular reports on sales, inventory, product availability, purchase orders, and deliveries.
Maintain accurate merchandising and supply chain records.
Assist in maintaining product and merchandising files and documentation.
