Job summary

Global Dollarstore Inc. is seeking an experienced Merchandising Manager to lead planning, sourcing, selection, and management of merchandise for our retail business.

You will develop the product assortment, monitor sales and inventory performance, and coordinate with suppliers to maintain competitive and profitable offerings. The role requires 3–5 years in merchandising or related fields, strong analytical and leadership skills, and proficiency in Excel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Retail Management, Merchandising, or related field.
• 3–5 years in merchandising, buying, purchasing, or retail management; supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience in retail formats (department stores, discount stores, FMCG) and supplier dealings.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement merchandising strategies aligned with sales and profitability.
• Plan and manage product assortment, categories, SKUs, and merchandise mix.
• Analyze sales, inventory, margins, sell-through, and product movement.
• Identify new products and trends to support growth and demand.
• Coordinate with local and international suppliers for sourcing, pricing, and terms.
• Negotiate product costs, pricing, payment terms, MOQs, and terms.
• Monitor pricing to remain competitive in the market.
• Develop promotions, markdowns, seasonal products, and offers.
• Manage budgets and inventory investments; monitor aging inventory.
