About the role

TEVIANT is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Merchandising Assistant to join our team in San Juan City Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in ensuring our retail operations run smoothly and our products are presented in the most attractive and effective manner to customers. As a Merchandising Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the merchandising team in executing visual displays, managing inventory presentation, and implementing merchandising strategies across our retail locations. This role is instrumental in driving customer engagement and supporting sales performance through compelling product presentation and strategic stock management.

What you'll be doing

• Assisting in the creation and maintenance of eye-catching visual displays and promotional presentations across retail locations
• Restocking shelves and ensuring products are organised, clearly labelled, and positioned according to merchandising guidelines
• Monitoring inventory levels and communicating stock discrepancies to the merchandising team
• Supporting the execution of promotional campaigns and seasonal merchandising initiatives
• Ensuring compliance with visual merchandising standards and brand guidelines throughout assigned areas
• Assisting with the receipt and organisation of new products and promotional materials
• Conducting regular audits of display areas to ensure product placement meets quality standards
• Supporting the preparation of merchandise for special events or product launches
• Maintaining accurate records of merchandising activities and reporting observations to senior merchandisers
• Collaborating with store staff to ensure smooth implementation of merchandising directives

What we're looking for

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification; additional retail or merchandising qualifications are advantageous
• Proven experience in a retail environment or merchandising role, or demonstrated ability to learn quickly in a retail setting
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high visual standards
• Excellent organisational and time management skills to juggle multiple merchandising tasks
• Physical capability to lift, carry, and arrange merchandise regularly, including standing for extended periods
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Flexibility to adapt to changing merchandising strategies and promotional requirements
• Knowledge of retail best practices and current merchandising trends is preferred
• A proactive attitude with a willingness to take on additional responsibilities
• Reliability and punctuality in meeting scheduled merchandising commitments
