About the role

We are seeking a talented and dynamic Merchandiser to join the team at ZC Kings Manpower Cooperative. This is a full-time position based in Cavite, Calabarzon. As a Merchandiser, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the visual presentation and profitability of our retail operations. You will be responsible for ensuring that products are displayed attractively and strategically to maximise sales and create an engaging shopping experience for our customers. This role is essential to our retail success, bridging the gap between our supply chain and the consumer.

What you'll be doing

• Displaying and arranging merchandise in an appealing and organised manner according to company standards and visual merchandising guidelines

• Monitoring stock levels and ensuring adequate product availability on shelves and display areas

• Rotating stock items to ensure freshness and compliance with expiry date management

• Creating eye-catching window displays and promotional displays to attract customer attention and drive sales

• Receiving and unpacking new merchandise shipments and processing them for display

• Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of retail spaces, including shelves, racks and display areas

• Assisting with inventory counts and audits to ensure accuracy of stock records

• Collaborating with the sales team to implement promotional campaigns and seasonal displays

• Responding to customer inquiries regarding product placement and availability

• Reporting any stock discrepancies, damaged merchandise or other issues to management

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a Merchandiser or in a similar retail role within a retail environment

• Strong visual merchandising skills with an eye for detail and aesthetic presentation

• Excellent organisational and time management abilities to manage multiple tasks efficiently

• Physical capability to lift, carry and arrange merchandise of varying weights and sizes

• Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members

• Knowledge of retail practices, stock management and point-of-sale systems is advantageous

• Flexibility and willingness to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays as required

• A proactive attitude with a commitment to maintaining high standards of presentation and service

• Basic numeracy skills for inventory management and stock reconciliation
