RLG Electro Mechanical Trading Corp. is urgently looking for qualified planning engineer professionals to join our team for the CP-S-07 MEPFS Project in Laguna.
About the Role
As an MEPFS Planning Engineer, you will lead the scheduling, resource management, and site execution tracking of Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection, and Sanitary systems. You will work directly on-site to ensure project delivery meets strict milestone schedules, budget constraints, and client standards.
Key Responsibilities
Project Scheduling
- Prepare detailed MEPFS baseline schedules using Primavera P6 and MS Project.
- Develop Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), critical paths, installation sequences, and target milestone schedules.
- Align MEPFS construction timelines with overall site execution, civil works, and general master schedules.
Progress Monitoring & Control
- Track daily and weekly site progress against the approved baseline schedule.
- Identify schedule variances, critical path bottlenecks, and project delays.
- Formulate and implement practical recovery actions and mitigation plans.
Resource Planning & Management
- Monitor daily manpower requirements, site staffing levels, and subcontractor allocations.
- Track construction equipment needs, tool usage, and material submittals/deliveries to ensure uninterrupted site operations.
Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare comprehensive weekly progress reports, monthly executive summaries, and S-curve tracking.
- Generate 2-week and 4-week look-ahead schedules for site operations.
- Conduct detailed delay analysis, review extension of time (EOT) claims, variation orders, and subcontractor progress billings.
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Coordinate seamlessly with internal teams, including Engineering, Procurement, and Construction.
- Manage site alignment and work-sequence handovers with subcontractors, project managers, and client consultants on-site in Laguna.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering, or Construction Management (Licensed Engineer preferred).
- Experience: Minimum 5+ years of dedicated planning and scheduling experience specifically handling MEPFS works in construction projects.
Software Proficiency:
- Primavera P6 (Advanced)
- MS Project
- Advanced Excel reporting (S-curves, data analysis)
- AutoCAD (knowledge is a plus)
Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of MEPFS installation processes, critical path methodology (CPM), work method statements, and local building codes.
Availability: Must be ready for immediate deployment to the project site in Laguna.
