Job summary

RemoteVA is seeking a skilled MEP Shop Drawing Specialist to produce detailed shop drawings for HVAC, plumbing and sprinkler systems. You will use Revit and AutoCAD to draft precise layouts, coordinate routing with the design team, and adapt to client templates and workflows while supporting documentation needs.

The role operates on EST hours (9:00–17:00) with remote work from anywhere; weekly pay and home-based setup are provided to enable efficient collaboration with our global client base.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Revit for MEP applications.

9:00 am - 5:00 pm EST (Monday - Friday)

• Communicate ideas and solutions for complex routing challenges
• Work with established templates and systems provided by the client
• Collaborate on HVAC system design and documentation
• Adapt to client-specific workflows and methodologies through training

Requirements

• Strong understanding of construction principles and practices
• Background and experience in creating shop drawings for mechanical systems
• Proficiency in Revit software for MEP applications
• Experience with AutoCAD for technical drawings
• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and sprinkler system design
• Excellent communication skills for coordination and problem-solving
• Ability to work Eastern Standard Time hours (9 AM - 5 PM EST)
• Willingness to learn client-specific templates and systems
