Job summary

CHINA CONSTRUCTION FRONT GEN. DEVT. CORP. in Laguna is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to prepare detailed quantity take-offs and cost estimates for MEPFS on construction projects.

You will analyse project specifications, drawings, and technical documentation to determine material and labour requirements, develop cost databases, and collaborate with engineering, project management, and procurement to ensure accurate budgeting and cost control, tender documents, and cost reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 1-5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor with MEPFS estimating.
• Strong knowledge of MEPFS systems and their installation costs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and cost estimates for MEPFS systems on construction projects
• Analyse project specifications, drawings, and technical documentation to determine material and labour requirements

What we're looking for

• Graduate of BS Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering, or related discipline

• Minimum 1-5 years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor, with substantial experience in MEPFS estimating

• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety systems and their installation costs

• Proficiency in Planswift and cost estimation tools

• Excellent analytical and mathematical abilities with meticulous attention to detail

• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, project lifecycles, and procurement processes

• Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and contract documents accurately

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams

• Experience working on large-scale construction or infrastructure projects is preferred
