KMZD GROUP is seeking an Executive Chef specializing in Mediterranean cuisine to lead our culinary team and oversee kitchen operations in Makati. You will drive menu development, maintain high standards of taste and presentation, and ensure efficient kitchen management.

The role requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and hands-on execution in a fast-paced dining environment to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Mentioned degree or diploma in Culinary Arts or related field.
• Proven experience as Executive/Head/Senior Chef in reputable settings.
• Mediterranean cuisine expertise including menu creation and ingredient selection.
• Experience in kitchen leadership, supervision, menu costing, and inventory.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee daily kitchen operations ensuring quality and service standards.
• Develop Mediterranean menus inspired by Greece, Italy, Spain, Turkey and more.
• Design seasonal menus, signature dishes, and culinary concepts.
• Manage food prep, portions, recipe standardization and plating.
• Supervise and mentor kitchen staff to maintain high standards.
• Monitor cost, inventory, purchasing, and budgets to maximize profitability.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations.
• Coordinate with management and service teams for guest satisfaction.
• Evaluate suppliers and maintain ingredient quality and availability.
• Stay updated on culinary trends and international dining standards.
