The ideal candidate has 1–2 years in medical billing, proficiency with CPT/ICD-10 coding and EHR systems, and strong communication skills. This is an onsite position at Alabang Corporate Center with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• College graduate.
• 1–2 years in medical billing or revenue cycle operations.
• Knowledge of healthcare billing, insurance processes, and medical terminology.
• Proficient in billing software and EHR systems (Epic, Meditech, NextGen).
• Understanding of CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS coding and claim submission standards.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Review and process claims for services to ensure accurate billing.
• Verify billing information accuracy (CPT, ICD-10, modifiers, demographics).
• Submit primary and secondary claims electronically or on paper if required.
• Resolve claim rejections by correcting and resubmitting promptly.
• Monitor unpaid or delayed claims and initiate follow-up or re-bill as needed.
• Collaborate with coding, registration, and clinical teams to resolve issues.
• Generate claims and statements as dictated by scope.
• Respond to billing inquiries professionally and promptly.
• Stay updated with billing regulations, payer requirements, and HIPAA compliance.
• Meet department productivity, accuracy, and quality benchmarks.
