HGS Offshore Staffing Solutions is recruiting for an onsite night-shift Billing Specialist in BGC, Taguig (near Market Market). The role focuses on hospital and physician billing collections and follow-up, working with payers to resolve issues and facilitate prompt payment of claims.

Candidates should have at least 2 years in Revenue Cycle Management or Billing/Coding certification, solid knowledge of CPT/ICD-10/837 terminology, excellent English communication, and proficiency in Excel and

• Comprehensive knowledge of insurance plans, member eligibility, and medical billing.
• Understanding of CPT, ICD-10, UB, HCFA, and 837 terminologies.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Detail oriented, strong problem solving, analyzing information and research skills.
• Excellent Computation and English communication skills.
• Experienced in Excel and with a financial software,
• Documentation and data entry skills.

Responsible for Hospital and/or Physician billing collections and follow up. The duties include working with payers to resolve issues and facilitate prompt payment of claims. Basic knowledge and understanding of patient billing, claims submission, and payer specific requirements is a must. This position is highly focused on the resolution of insurance processing errors and denials. Payers include but are not limited to Medicare, Medicaid, Blue Cross, and commercial health insurance carriers.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Follow-up regarding claim status

• Identifying and resolving outstanding issues preventing claim resolution

• Correcting and resubmitting claims
