Job summary

Optum is seeking an I O Engineering Consultant to manage MECM/SCCM, Intune, and Workspace ONE UEM in a dual environment. You will own endpoint engineering, OS servicing, patching, and automation initiatives while following ITSM processes and security standards.

Responsibilities include platform health, deployment, remediation, and continuous improvement through AI and automation, with emphasis on reliability and timely incident resolution.

Qualifications

• Omnissa Workspace ONE UEM: 1+ years of administrative depth (profiles, Smart Groups, app distribution, compliance policies)
• MECM/SCCM: proven deployments, content distribution, client health, reporting
• Intune: enrollment methods, configuration/compliance policies, Win32 app deployment

Responsibilities

• Administer Intune and support coexistence with MECM
• Administer Workspace ONE UEM and support coexistence with Intune (Dual UEM)
• Monitor platform health: enrollment success, policy/app deployment success, client health
• Package and deploy applications (MSI/EXE/MSIX/Win32) with proper detection
• Support OS deployment and servicing, driver/BIOS packaging, rollback plans
• Operate patching and vulnerability remediation via MECM and coordinate with security teams
• Troubleshoot endpoint deployment with logs; participate in ITSM processes and war rooms
• Develop PowerShell automations and explore AI-assisted improvements
