Job summary

D & L Industries is seeking a Maintenance Technician to provide on-the-floor response to mechanical issues and support production for immediate resolutions. You will assist in root cause investigations, perform corrective and preventive actions, and help with lubrication management across equipment.

You will update productivity records, follow GMP/HACCP safety guidelines, and collaborate with Maintenance, Automation, Quality, and Planning teams while potentially working shifts and OT as needed.

Qualifications

• At least vocational graduate (Mechanical, Electrical or Instrumentation) or with relevant equivalent experience.
• At least one year from food or industrial setting.
• Ability to work well with others in a collaborative manner.
• Hard working.
• Displays high level of integrity and collaboration.
• Willing to render OT if necessary.

Responsibilities

• Provides on-the-floor response of operational issues; working with maintenance and production for immediate responses to deviations on the Mechanical discipline.
• Supports root cause investigation for timely repair. Performing corrective and preventive actions to further mitigate risk.
• May also in charge in lubrication management system of all the equipment inside the production
• Supports improvements projects aimed at the concept right first-Time performance seek to improve yield, reduce cost, or optimize processing cycle times.
• Updates records that will directly affect productivity including proper SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures).
• Follows safety, environmental and audit compliance objectives.
• Supports engineers and other groups (Maintenance, Automation, Technology, Quality, and Planning).
• May be required to obtain certification as needed.
• Provides assistance in the operation and maintenance of the Common Utilities Building for DLPF, includes, but is not limited to, steam, compressed air, ammonia and nitrogen gas.
• Stricts adherence to maintenance schedule with operations, and make sure timely activities are followed.
• Amendable to working on shifts or as assigned by the section lead in charge,
• Proper use of inventory parts to provide uninterrupted service to the D&L manufacturing operations.
• Follows safety policies and guidelines in accordance to food safety (HACCP),Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), IMS, SQMS, TPM pest control, general housekeeping (5S).
