Job summary

Hammerjack Pty Ltd is seeking a Plant Mechanic for a project-based role in the Philippines. You will support immediate supervisors, review work requests, and ensure all specifications are met before maintenance or installation tasks begin.

The position requires a mechanical/electrical background with at least 2 years of related experience, including troubleshooting PLCs, pneumatics, hydraulics, and refrigeration systems. Work is on-site with a project-based contract of five months.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of related experience.
• Diploma/certificate in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Technician.
• Experience troubleshooting PLC, Inverter, DC drives, etc.
• Plant mechanical repair experience is advantageous.
• Familiarity with refrigeration and air conditioning systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist superiors to achieve quality objectives.
• Review work requests and verify specifications for electrical power transmission, machinery and equipment.
• Prepare and check machines, equipment and material requirements before starting a job.
• Perform assigned tasks as required.

Responsibilities

• Provides assistance/help to Immediate Superiors for the achievement of quality objectives.
• Receives/Reviews Work Requests/job assignments to check details of specifications for the jobs/tasks assigned regarding electrical power transmission/distribution and other machineries, equipment, and components due for major repair, maintenance, upgrading, rehabilitation, modification, assembly, innovation, construction or installation.
• Prepares and checks machines / equipment and material requirements and other details of the job before finally starting with a job.
• Performs assigned task as applicable

Education / Experience

• Candidate must possess at least a Vocational Diploma/Short Course Certificate in Engineering Mechanical or equivalent and/or Graduate of Industrial technician/ FRESH GRADUATE
• At least 2 Year(s) of working experience in the related field
• Troubleshoot Industrial control like Colorcon, PLC, LPC, EPC, Inverter, DC Drive etc.
• With experience in Plant Mechanical repair / Plant Mechanic has an advantage
• Knowledge and experience in the repair of Pneumatic system and Hydraulic system
• Specializing in REFRIGERATION AND AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEMS

Required Skill(s)

• can read and interpret electrical and mechanical diagrams and drawings, modify and plan requirements fabrication
• Knowledge and experience in the repair of Pneumatic system and Hydraulic system
• Computer literate, basic knowledge of Microsoft office EXCEL

Contract length: 5 months (Project Based)
