Job summary

A company in flexible packaging manufacturing in Valenzuela is seeking a Mechanical Technician for a project-based position lasting 5 months, with the possibility of promotion to a permanent employee. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience and be skilled in reading electrical and mechanical diagrams, as well as knowledgeable in Pneumatic and Hydraulic systems. Qualifications

• At least 2 years of working experience in a related field.
• Experience troubleshooting industrial controls like PLC, EPC, and Inverter.
• Experience in Plant Mechanical repair is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist Immediate Superiors in achieving quality objectives.
• Review Work Requests to check job specifications.
• Prepare machines and material requirements before starting a job.

Skills

Reading electrical and mechanical diagrams

Knowledge in Pneumatic and Hydraulic system repairs

Job description

Responsibilities

• Provides assistance/help to Immediate Superiors for the achievement of quality objectives.
• Receives/Reviews Work Requests/job assignments to check details of specifications for the jobs/tasks assigned regarding electrical power transmission/distribution and other machineries, equipment, and components due for major repair, maintenance, upgrading, rehabilitation, modification, assembly, innovation, construction or installation.
• Prepares and checks machines / equipment and material requirements and other details of the job before finally starting with a job.|
• Performs assigned task as applicable:

Education / Experience

• Candidate must possess at least a Vocational Diploma/Short Course Certificate in Engineering Mechanical or equivalent and/or Graduate of Industrial technician
• At least 2 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Troubleshoot Industrial control like Colorcon, PLC, LPC, EPC, Inverter, DC Drive etc.
• With experience in Plant Mechanical repair / Plant Mechanic has an advantage
• Knowledge and experience in the repair of Pneumatic system and Hydraulic system

Required Skill(s)

• can read and interpret electrical and mechanical diagrams and drawings, modify and plan requirements fabrication
• Knowledge and experience in the repair of Pneumatic system and Hydraulic system
• Computer literate, basic knowledge of Microsoft office EXCEL

Contract length: 5 months (Project-Based)
