Knauf Philippines is seeking an Electrical Technician to install, maintain, and repair electrical components of industrial equipment, ensuring safety and compliance with codes. The role requires reading instructions, blueprints, and manuals and performing preventative maintenance.
You will work independently or with teams, prepare daily reports, and contribute to continuous improvement and safe operation of the plant.
Electrical Technicians install, maintain, and repair electrical equipment and parts, such as control panels. It’s requiring extensive knowledge of electrical components as well as electrical safety codes and regulations. They must be professional, technical, and mechanically proficient.
Installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical components of industrial equipment.
Observing safety procedures and meeting electrical codes.
Making decisions based on technical documents.
Performing quality testing and inspections.
Works independent or with operation’s personnel, contractors, or engineering as required.
Must be able to read instructions, blueprints, and manuals, and use any meters, hand tools, and shop equipment required to perform tasks.
Prepares and updates electrical daily reporting.
Perform preventative maintenance to prevent major production interruption and to ensure the safe operating condition of the plant.
Maintain tools and test equipment to maintain plant electrical systems.
Assist with maintenance and troubleshooting problems of all equipment.
Work in a neat and orderly manner and be always responsible for safety and good housekeeping.
Support the organization in maintaining compliance of existing APAC HSE standards, and Code of Business Conduct.
Introducinghealth and safetystandards in the workplace and providing proactive and reactive solutions to risks and hazards.
Developing and implementing sustainability strategies, reducing environmental impact, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations and sustainability goals.
Identify, evaluate and implement work process improvement.
Participate in improvement projects and events
Graduate of any 1-3-year vocational course or any technological course.
3-5 years related Manufacturing experience as Electrical/Instrument Technician
Knowledgeable in Installation, Maintaining and Repair
Experience in Industrial Maintenance
