Job summary
JB Packaging Corporation in the Philippines seeks an experienced maintenance technician to operate and maintain machinery and electrical equipment. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose electromechanical systems, and repair process equipment, motors, and conveyors.
The role requires PLC/HMI knowledge, use of diagnostic tools, and the ability to document tasks while training others. Overtime and shift work may be required.
Qualifications
- Graduate of Electronic Technology or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 2 years maintaining, repairing, or installing electromechanical equipment.
- Experience troubleshooting complex equipment and three-phase power systems.
- Familiarity with PLCs, HMIs, and PC-based control systems.
- Knowledge of facility equipment maintenance advantageous.
- Proficient with standard hand and power tools and diagnostic devices.
Responsibilities
- Able to understand PLC logic and troubleshoot to improve machine performance.
- Provide routine and preventive maintenance and troubleshooting to production equipment.
- Proficiently utilize DMM, ammeter, oscilloscope, and various tools.
- Document activities on technical tasks like assembly, disassembly, calibration.
- Suggest circuit or installation changes to simplify maintenance.
- Maintain drawings, schematics and inspection manuals.
- Manage parts inventory and supplier coordination for orders.
- Train others to install, use, or maintain electro-mechanical systems.
- Perform other duties as directed by supervisor.

Job description
Ensures operation of machinery and electrical equipment by completing preventive and preventive maintenance requirements. And provide electrical/electronic and mechanical diagnostics, perform repairs to process machinery, equipment and controls, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and other electrical related systems
Able to understand PLC logic and troubleshoot to improve machine performance.
Provide routine and preventative maintenance and troubleshooting to production equipment.
Proficiently utilize a wide variety of tools and instrumentation such as personal computers, DMM, ammeter, oscilloscope, hand tools, power tools, and predictive maintenance tools
Conduct and document activities on a variety of technical tasks such as assembly, disassembly, fabrication, test, and calibration of electronic and mechanical systems
Recommend changes in circuitry or installation specifications to simplify assembly & maintenance
Maintain knowledge of drawings, blueprints, schematics diagrams and inspection manuals
Maintain parts and equipment inventory and handle ordering processes by consulting with vendors and suppliers
Train others to install, use, or maintain electro-mechanical systems. Train personnel on proper operational procedures.
Performs other related duties consistent with the nature of the job as directed by the supervisor.
Graduate of Electronic Technology course, or equivalent work experience
With minimum of 2 years experience in maintaining, repairing, or installing high and low voltage electromechanical equipment.
Knowledgeable on facilities equipment maintenance is an advantage.
With experience working in troubleshooting and repairing complex mechanical machineries.
With knowledge and use of hand, power, shop tools and equipment associated with the position.
With knowledge of programming PLC's HMI's PC based systems
With experience working with three phase power variety of different control voltages.
Able to work overtime and work any shift
