Job summary

Lycopodium Philippines is currently recruiting for an Engineer - Mechanical Package to join our growing Engineering team in Manila. The role focuses on scheduling and cost reporting, post-award change management, risk and technical compliance in line with our approved systems and procedures.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to build and sustain relationships with clients, vendors and co-workers.
• Solid technical aptitude with analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Ensure package activities comply with project, client, statutory, and quality requirements.
• Manage assigned package(s) within approved cost and schedule targets.
• Monitor progress against milestones and address deviations proactively.
• Support forecasting of package costs, commitments, and schedule performance.
• Coordinate technical reviews, vendor documentation, and design interfaces.
• Facilitate timely resolution of technical queries and design issues.
• Manage vendor performance from award through manufacture, inspection, delivery and close-out.
• Monitor fabrication progress and expediting requirements.
• Coordinate disciplines to ensure deliverables are aligned and integrated.
• Ensure change management procedures are followed.
• Assess impacts of scope changes on cost, schedule, and risk.
• Maintain accurate package records and supporting documentation.
• Provide accurate and timely package status reporting.
• Maintain package registers, action lists, risk registers, and procurement trackers.
• Escalate emerging issues, risks, and opportunities promptly.
