Job summary

Lycopodium Philippines is seeking an Engineer - Mechanical Package to join our Manila-based Engineering team. You will manage package activities, costs, and scheduling while coordinating vendor interfaces and change management processes.

Qualifications

• University degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 3+ years of post-graduate experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure package activities meet project, client, statutory, and quality requirements.
• Manage package(s) to approved cost and schedule targets.
• Monitor progress against milestones and address deviations.
• Support forecasting of package costs, commitments, and schedule performance.
• Coordinate technical reviews, vendor documentation, and design interfaces.
• Facilitate timely resolution of technical queries and design issues.
• Manage vendor performance from award through manufacture, inspection, delivery, and close-out.
• Monitor fabrication progress and expediting requirements.
• Coordinate disciplines to ensure deliverables are aligned and integrated.
• Ensure change management procedures are followed.
• Assess impacts of scope changes on cost, schedule, and risk.
• Maintain accurate package records and supporting documentation.
• Provide accurate and timely package status reporting.
• Maintain package registers, action lists, risk registers, and procurement trackers.
• Escalate emerging issues, risks, and opportunities promptly.
