Job summary

Lycopodium Philippines is seeking a Senior Contracts Engineer in Manila to lead contract management for assigned projects. You will oversee pre-award tendering, RFTs, addenda, evaluation and negotiation, and post-award administration including claims and close-out.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor of Engineering or Quantity Surveying with 7+ years in similar roles, strong communication, and stakeholder management skills. The role offers ongoing project exposure and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering or qualification in Quantity Surveying, construction management, related areas with knowledge and experience in contract law.
• A minimum of 7 years in a similar role with relevant industry experience.
• Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
• Build and sustain positive relationships with all stakeholders, including clients, vendors and co-workers.
• Good organisational and time management skills.
• Personal qualities of integrity, credibility and commitment.
• Solid technical aptitude, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Undertake pre-award contract management activities, including tendering and RFT development.
• Manage the tender process, issue addenda, evaluate tenders and negotiate deviations.
• Prepare and issue Recommendations for Award and conformed contract documents.
• Post-award contract administration including insurance, bank guarantees, variations, claims and close out.
• Maintain up-to-date contract management registers and project reporting.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to meet project objectives and improve operational efficiency.
