Job summary

Hammerjack Pty Ltd is seeking a Mechanical Engineer in the Philippines for a hybrid/onsite role. You will generate 2D/3D drawings, develop steel-fabricated equipment, and collaborate with manufacturing and sales to ensure production-readiness.

The ideal candidate has 3–4 years of mechanical design experience, proficiency in Inventor or AutoCAD, and strong English communication. Prior exposure to agricultural or related equipment is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 3–4 years of relevant mechanical engineering experience.
• Proficient with 3D CAD (Inventor preferred; AutoCAD acceptable).
• Experience in steel fabrication or galvanized steel design.
• Strong English communication.

Responsibilities

• Produce accurate 2D and 3D manufacturing drawings using CAD software (Inventor preferred).
• Design and develop steel-fabricated equipment and related engineering solutions.
• Work closely with manufacturing, production, and sales teams to ensure designs are production-ready.
• Interpret technical drawings, specify components, and maintain engineering documentation.
• Support projects from concept and design through manufacturing and delivery.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across engineering and manufacturing processes.

We're hiring a Mechanical Engineer to support an established Irish engineering company specializing in the design and manufacture of steel-fabricated equipment for the agricultural sector. This is an opportunity to work with an international engineering team while being employed locally in the Philippines through an Employer of Record (EOR) arrangement.

Work Setup: Hybrid or Full Onsite (Philippines)

What You'll Do

• Produce accurate 2D and 3D manufacturing drawings using CAD software (Inventor preferred).
• Design and develop steel-fabricated equipment and related engineering solutions.
• Work closely with manufacturing, production, and sales teams to ensure designs are production-ready.
• Interpret technical drawings, specify components, and maintain engineering documentation.
• Support projects from concept and design through manufacturing and delivery.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across engineering and manufacturing processes.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Around 3-4 years of relevant experience in mechanical engineering or product design.
• Strong experience with 3D CAD (Inventor preferred AutoCAD is essential).
• Background in steel fabrication, manufacturing, or galvanized steel design.
• Experience creating fabrication or manufacturing drawings.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Experience in agricultural or farming equipment is an advantage.
