Job summary

Bounty Fresh Food, Inc. is seeking a skilled refrigeration technician to operate, maintain and troubleshoot industrial cooling equipment on site in Bulacan.

The role focuses on reliable performance of compressors, condensers, evaporators and related systems. The technician will conduct preventive and corrective maintenance, monitor temperatures and refrigerant levels, document readings, and ensure compliance with GMP and safety procedures while collaborating with production teams to minimize

Responsibilities

• Operates, monitors, and maintains refrigeration systems, compressors, condensers, evaporators, cooling towers, pumps, and related equipment.
• Conducts regular inspection of refrigeration equipment and checks operating parameters such as temperature, pressure, oil level, and refrigerant condition.
• Performs preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance on refrigeration systems and components.
• Troubleshoots refrigeration system problems and identifies the root cause of equipment failure.
• Performs repair and replacement of defective refrigeration components, including valves, sensors, motors, belts, filters, electrical controls, and other related parts.
• Monitors refrigerant levels and checks for possible refrigerant leaks.
• Conducts cleaning and maintenance of condensers, evaporators, cooling coils, strainers, and other refrigeration components.
• Ensures proper operation of refrigeration control systems, thermostats, pressure switches, sensors, and electrical controls.
• Records equipment readings, maintenance activities, repairs, abnormalities, and other relevant information in the appropriate maintenance records.
• Responds promptly to refrigeration equipment breakdowns and production-related maintenance concerns.
• Coordinates with production personnel regarding refrigeration requirements, equipment shutdowns, and maintenance activities.
• Ensures that refrigeration equipment is operated within the prescribed operating parameters and manufacturer recommendations.
• Assists in the installation, commissioning, testing, and modification of refrigeration equipment and systems.
• Maintains proper housekeeping and cleanliness in the refrigeration room, equipment areas, and work areas.
• Follows proper lockout/tagout and other safety procedures before performing maintenance or repair work.
• Ensures proper handling, storage, and use of refrigerants, lubricants, tools, and other materials.
• Reports unsafe conditions, equipment abnormalities, refrigerant leaks, and potential hazards to the immediate supervisor.
• Participates in emergency response activities involving refrigeration system breakdowns or other equipment emergencies.
• Supports audit requirements related to equipment maintenance, food safety, GMP, 5S, environmental, and occupational safety.
• Performs other related duties that may be assigned by the immediate supervisor or department head.
