Job summary

Viking Cold Storage (Davao), Inc. in the Philippines is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to design and specify refrigeration and HVAC systems for our projects. You will prepare drawings, sizing calculations, and project documentation to support installation and commissioning.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering, 2+ years in mechanical/HVAC/refrigeration, and proficiency with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Revit. You will collaborate across teams to ensure safety and energy efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• 2+ years of relevant experience in mechanical engineering, HVAC, or refrigeration is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of refrigeration cycles, compressors, condensers, evaporators, expansion devices, and refrigerants.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit, or other engineering design software.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.

• Provide technical support during installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repairs.
• Assist in preparing cost estimates, project schedules, and technical reports.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of cold storage, commercial refrigeration, or industrial refrigeration systems.
• Experience with energy-efficient refrigeration solutions and system optimization.
• Understanding of preventive maintenance and equipment reliability programs.
• Familiarity with relevant environmental and refrigerant regulations.
• Project management experience is an advantage.
