Position: Mechanical Engineer
Assignment: Makati City, Metro Manila
Employment Type: Project-Based
Project Duration: Until December 2026, with possible extension until project completion
Job Summary
We are looking for a qualified and experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our project team in Makati City. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the planning, coordination, supervision, and implementation of mechanical works to ensure that project requirements, quality standards, safety regulations, and timelines are properly met.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and monitor the implementation of mechanical works at the project site.
- Review and interpret mechanical plans, drawings, specifications, and other technical documents.
- Coordinate with the Project Manager, Site Engineers, contractors, subcontractors, and other disciplines to ensure smooth project execution.
- Monitor the progress and quality of mechanical installations and ensure compliance with approved plans and specifications.
- Conduct site inspections and identify technical issues, discrepancies, and potential problems.
- Ensure that mechanical works comply with applicable codes, standards, and safety requirements.
- Assist in preparing progress reports, inspection reports, documentation, and other project-related reports.
- Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors regarding materials, equipment, deliveries, and technical requirements.
- Assist in resolving technical issues and provide recommendations when necessary.
- Ensure proper documentation and completion of mechanical works and testing/commissioning activities.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned by the Project Manager or immediate superior.
Qualifications
- Must be a Registered Mechanical Engineer (RME) with a valid Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) license.
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Preferably with relevant experience in construction, building, or MEPF projects.
- Knowledgeable in mechanical systems, construction methods, and technical drawings.
- Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced project environment.
- Willing to be assigned and report to the project site in Makati City.
- to accept a project-based engagement until December 2026, with the possibility of extension depending on the project’s requirements and completion.
