Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Mechanical engineers are responsible for a wide range of tasks, including:

• Designing Mechanical Systems: Conceptualizing, modeling, and detailing mechanical components or entire systems using principles of physics, mathematics, and material science
• CAD Modeling and Drafting: Creating 3D models and detailed drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) software to visualize and refine designs
• Testing and Analysis: Conducting simulations, prototype testing, and performance evaluations to ensure designs meet functional, safety, and regulatory standards
• Project Management: Planning, scheduling, budgeting, and coordinating multidisciplinary teams to oversee the product development lifecycle
• Materials Selection: Choosing appropriate materials for strength, durability, cost-effectiveness, and environmental impact
• Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Overseeing installation, operation, preventive maintenance, and repair of mechanical systems, including HVAC, engines, and industrial machineryI
