Job summary

Credibuild Development Corp. is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to plan, coordinate, and monitor mechanical works on site, ensuring projects meet schedule, budget, and quality targets.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering, a PE license preferred, at least 3 years in construction, and experience with HVAC, piping, and mechanical equipment; strong reading of plans and proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office are essential.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is required or strongly preferred.
  • Licensed Mechanical Engineer preferred/required depending on project requirements.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant construction experience.
  • Experience in HVAC, ventilation, refrigeration, mechanical piping, and equipment installation is advantageous.
  • Experience in laboratory, food-processing, meat-processing, commercial, or institutional projects is advantageous.
  • Proficient at reading mechanical plans and technical specifications.
  • Proficient in MS Office and AutoCAD.
  • Strong site supervision, coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Willing to work on-site and coordinate with contractors and project personnel.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and monitor all mechanical construction activities on site.
  • Review mechanical plans, specifications, shop drawings, and equipment submittals.
  • Coordinate mechanical works with architectural, structural, electrical, plumbing, sanitary, and fire protection works.
  • Supervise installation of HVAC, ventilation, refrigeration/cold storage, pumps, piping, and mechanical equipment.
  • Conduct inspections and ensure quality and compliance with approved plans and specifications.
  • Monitor manpower, materials, equipment, productivity, and project progress.
  • Coordinate testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of mechanical systems.
  • Prepare daily/weekly reports, inspection requests, testing records, and other project documentation.
  • Assist in preparation of as-built drawings, equipment schedules, O&M manuals, and turnover documents.
  • Ensure compliance with project safety requirements and applicable Philippine standards.

About the role
