MECHANICAL ENGINEER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Developing and preparing mechanical system designs including HVAC, piping, and equipment layouts in accordance with project requirements and applicable codes.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure proper integration of mechanical systems into overall project plans.
• Overseeing on-site mechanical works, monitoring progress, and ensuring installations meet project specifications and quality standards.
• Conducting inspections, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems to verify performance and functionality.
• Identifying and resolving technical issues, providing effective engineering solutions during project execution.
• Ensuring compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and government requirements.
• Preparing technical reports, documentation, and updating as-built drawings for project records.
• Assisting in cost estimation, budgeting, and sourcing of mechanical materials and equipment.
• Providing technical support during and after project completion, including maintenance recommendations.
• Keeping up to date with advancements in mechanical engineering practices, tools, and standards.

MECHANICAL ENGINEER QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Licensing: Registered Mechanical Engineer (RME) license from the PRC is an advantage.

Experience: At least 1–3 years of relevant experience in mechanical works, construction, or engineering projects.

Technical Skills: Knowledge of mechanical systems (HVAC, pumps, piping), and proficiency in design and drafting software.

Soft Skills: Good communication, teamwork, problem-solving ability, and strong attention to detail.
