Job summary

Avistar Manufacturing is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to design and develop components for lighting products and other finished goods. You will create accurate 3D models, drawings, and BOMs, and collaborate with electrical engineers and product designers to ensure integrated solutions.

You will run simulations, validate designs through testing, and support manufacturing with detailed documentation and design reviews. Strong attention to detail is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent is required.
• Strong knowledge of statistics and their application to design.
• Ability to write clearly about highly technical subjects.
• Proficiency in mechanical design, calculation, analysis, and simulation.
• Familiarity with basic drafting standards.
• Experience with SolidWorks and engineering drawing practices.
