Job summary

Avistar Manufacturing seeks an Electrical Engineer to design and develop circuits for lighting products in Laguna. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical designs with product specs and validate performance through simulations and testing.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, plus experience with LED strip design and PCB layout. You will contribute to documentation, support manufacturing, and stay aligned with industry standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent is required.
• Strong preference for experience in flexible LED strip design.
• Basic knowledge of statistics and its application to product design.
• Ability to communicate clearly on highly technical subjects.
• Proficient in circuit design, calculation, analysis and simulation.
• Experience with industry-standard design software and tools.
• Proficient in PCBA layout.
• Solid understanding of UL standards and certification processes.
• Working familiarity with ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical circuits and systems for lighting products.
• Collaborate with mechanical engineers and product managers to integrate designs with specifications.
• Conduct simulations and analyses to validate design performance and reliability.
• Prepare schematics, specifications, and test plans.
• Provide technical support during manufacturing and resolve production issues.
• Oversee prototype and finished-goods testing for compliance.
• Validate function, life, and quality through testing methods.
• Create schematics, PCBA layouts, and drawings for customers and suppliers.
• Coordinate with project team for on-time completion.
• Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and regulations.
