Job summary

SUEZ Philippines is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to support high-quality mechanical designs for water, wastewater, and environmental projects under the guidance of the Mechanical Design Lead.

The role involves sizing calculations, equipment datasheets, interface sketches, supplier reviews, and cross-disciplinary coordination to ensure compliant, reliable outputs on schedule and within cost constraints.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Licensed Mechanical Engineer is an advantage but not mandatory.
• 2–5 years experience in mechanical engineering.
• Familiar with mechanical equipment sizing and basic calculations.
• Experience with CAD / 3D tools (AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare mechanical design deliverables for proposal and execution.
• Perform mechanical sizing calculations (TDH, blower, air flow) and prepare equipment lists/datasheets.
• Review supplier technical offers and support vendor document approvals.
• Coordinate with civil, electrical, instrumentation and process engineers.
• Support FAT/SAT and site activities and ensure design compliance with standards.
