Job summary

De Nora Water Technologies, part of the De Nora Group, seeks an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to lead equipment and system design for water treatment projects. You will model components, perform calculations, and ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards.

The role requires at least 3 years in mechanical design within water-related industries, with strong abilities in AutoCAD and 3D modelling, plus excellent technical writing and stakeholder collaboration skills.

Qualifications

Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum of 3 years of Mechanical Design experience in Water, Wastewater, Power, Oil & Gas, or Chemical processes.
Strong understanding of design codes, OSH standards and HAZOP.

Responsibilities

Mechanical engineering design for equipment, components, and systems in water treatment projects.
Adheres to engineering, regulatory, testing and quality standards.
Performs design calculations and develops design methodologies.
Interfaces with detail designers for 3D modelling and drawings review.
Produces test methodologies, datasheets and close-out documents.
Reviews client requirements and vendor proposals for compliance and cost-effectiveness.
Develops standard specifications and processes in the engineering discipline.
