Job summary

Aggreko in Taguig is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to develop designs for power generation, temperature control, and energy projects. You will create mechanical layouts, 3D models, P&IDs, piping drawings, and equipment arrangements using CAD tools.

Join a team that designs and supports balance-of-plant systems, including cooling, ventilation, fuel, exhaust, and related equipment. Strong thermodynamics knowledge and collaboration across disciplines are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering; RME certification is a plus.
• Minimum 5 years of mechanical design experience in energy or industrial settings.
• Knowledge of diesel and gas power generation systems.
• Proficient sizing, piping, cooling, and ventilation design.
• Ability to prepare P&IDs, layouts, and drawings; strong thermodynamics knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Prepare mechanical designs for power generation and energy projects.
• Develop 3D models, P&IDs, piping layouts, and equipment arrangements.
• Design balance-of-plant systems including cooling, ventilation, fuel, and exhaust.
• Perform engineering calculations and select mechanical equipment.
• Coordinate with sales, project, and multidisciplinary teams for designs and commissioning.
• Maintain quality, safety, environmental, and documentation standards.
