Job summary

Aggreko, LLC in Taguig, Philippines, invites an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to drive project electrical designs and documentation for bids, detailed design and Operations projects. You will develop power-system layouts, perform studies, and coordinate with sales and project teams to propose practical engineering solutions.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering and at least 5 years of design experience, with AutoCAD and advanced software such as DigSILENT, ETAP or

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• Minimum of 5 years design experience in electrical power systems.
• Experience with LV/MV systems and electrical equipment desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical power system studies, including load flow, short-circuit, protection coordination, arc flash, and voltage drop analysis.
• Develop electrical designs and project drawings using CAD software (single-line diagrams, layouts, cable routing drawings).
• Design and specify power generation packages and electrical equipment (generators, transformers, switchgear, protection, earthing, cables).
• Provide technical support to Sales, clients, and project teams by reviewing requirements and conducting site visits.
• Support project execution through engineering documentation, BOMs, testing, commissioning, and as-built documentation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams while ensuring compliance with codes and safety/environmental requirements.
